ECA Interpersonal Communication Interest Group Meeting

Greetings Interpersonal Communication Interest Group Members!

We look forward to our (Re)Union in Philadelphia from April 7^th – 9^th.  This year, all interest groups will host their business meetings prior to the convention.  Please mark your calendars and plan to join your colleagues for our virtual business meeting:

To assist you in preparing for our meeting, please review the attached drafts:

• ECA IPC Business Meeting Draft Agenda (NOTE: If you have any items you would like added to the agenda, please email them to thomas@ohio.edu by Thursday, March 31^st).
• ECA IPC 2021 Business Meeting Minutes Draft

We need YOUR assistance to help us identify our future leaders. Nominations are being solicited for the following roles (NOTE: Self-nominations are welcome!):

• Vice-Chair (Planner for 2024 convention in Cambridge, MA)
• Secretary (Two-year term – record the minutes at the 2023 & 2024 ECA conventions)
• IPC Representative to ECA Executive Council (2023-2025)
  • Term begins on Sunday of 2023 ECA Convention
  • Represents IPC by attending the following ECA Executive Council Meetings:
    • ECA: Sunday – 2023; Thursday & Sunday – 2024; Thursday – 2025
    • NCA: 2023 & 2024

Nominations will close on Friday, April 1^st at 11:59 pm EST so we can confirm all nominees are willing to be included on the ballot prior to voting. Our election will take place via electronic ballot from Monday, April 4th through Friday, April 8^th.
