Submission Deadline:  October 15, 2020 11:59 (PST)

The Communication and Technology Interest Group is requesting paper and panel submissions for the 112th Annual ECA Convention in Cambridge, MA. The convention theme, Resilience, embodies our ability to overcome obstacles, thrive despite challenges, and adapt to an ever-changing global landscape. Cambridge is a city known for its rich history of resilience and for being a hub for technological innovation. Communication technology can be used to assist individuals in successfully overcoming adversity and to develop positive outcomes in our personal and professional lives. As communication technology scholars, we seek to understand how technology adoption and mediated communication can foster resilience within local and global communities. At this year’s conference in Cambridge, we welcome individual paper and panel submissions that incorporate resilience into communication technology research, service, pedagogy, and/or practice.

Papers and panel proposals must be submitted electronically by October 15, 2020 at 11:59 PM (PST).  The Communication and Technology Interest Group of ECA utilizes Attendee Interactive to manage all submissions and blind-reviews.

The Communication and Technology Interest Group invites two types of submissions:
