ECA 2021 Election - Candidate Statements

I am pleased to present to you statements from our two esteemed nominees, Dr. Sara Labelle (Chapman University) and Dr. Jeanne M. Persuit (University of North Carolina Wilmington).

Dear ECA Colleagues:

As the changing leaves usher in a new season, we are once again called on to consider new leaders. At our Providence convention, attendees at the General Business Meeting approved the slate of nominees for First Vice President-Elect Select. I am pleased to present to you statements from our two esteemed nominees, Dr. Sara Labelle (Chapman University) and Dr. Jeanne M. Persuit (University of North Carolina Wilmington).

The ballot for this year's voting will open on the morning of October 16 and will remain available until 11:59 p.m. on October 31. You will be asked to vote not only for our next First VP to plan the 2024 convention in Cambridge, but also for candidates seeking roles as ECA representatives to NCA. It is critical to ECA that we all participate in this process of choosing our next group of leaders, for it is under the guidance of dedicated and robust leadership that our organization will continue its good health and professional excellence long into the future.
