2026 ECA Convention Interpersonal Communication Interest Group Convention Program

Warm Spring Greetings, Interest Group Members!

We look forward to seeing many of you at ECA in Pittsburgh in a few weeks. You can review the ECA 2026 Program Schedule here, but also check out the attached document for information about our Business Meeting and Sessions. Please make sure to attend the Business Meeting for important interest group updates and the chance to get a raffle ticket towards prizes from our esteemed ECA First Vice President, Jessica Papajcik!

For those of you presenting, the convention has full technology – please plan to make use of the projectors, wifi, and the convention themed slides available here [docs.google.com]. You will need to bring your own laptop.

IMPORTANT INTEREST GROUP ANNOUNCEMENT: We are seeking nominations for Vice Chair who will become Chair and Planner for the 2027 ECA convention. The IPC business meeting is at 1:00pm on Thursday, April 9. We will collect nominations at this time and for those interested who are unable to attend the business meeting, please let one of us or a colleague know of your interest and we will put your name on the ballot. This position will begin immediately and the selected individual will be expected to attend one of the ECA 2027 Planners Meetings happening in Pittsburgh.
